Francheska Betancourt is a New York based makeup artist specializing in character design. From an early age she was fascinated by the characters in horror films (even though she wasn’t allowed to watch them) and how believable they seem. This is when her interest and passion for makeup began to develop.  Something about The Exorcist and Freddy Krueger’s makeup design that she just could not get enough of till this day as an adult.

       Francheska began her journey as a self-taught artist working for a couple of different high end makeup brands before she decided she wanted to do more with her career. She decided to attend Makeup Designory New York completing the master’s program. It was during this intensive training that she designed makeup for a series of beauty and fashion photoshoots and designed a range of characters.

       She looks forward to evolving and refining her art and designing more intricate and magical characters. She continues to seek out those opportunities to bring to like characters and inspire others in the same way she was inspired as a child.
